Scope note
Refers to views achieved by photographing from an aircraft or other high location, or in any medium imagined as if seen from such a high location. When emphasizing a photograph itself, use "aerial photographs." For nonphotographic depictions having high viewpoints, typically prefer "bird's-eye views" or "bird's-eye perspectives."
